About Nebraska Community Blood Bank

A legacy of saving lives

The Nebraska Community Blood Bank (NCBB) has been connecting people and saving lives since 1968. Founded by Lancaster County Medical Society physicians to meet the transfusion needs of hospitals in Lancaster and Seward counties, NCBB currently provides blood products and services to medical facilities in Lancaster, Jefferson, Nance, Polk, Saline, Seward, and York counties. The main facility located in Lincoln serves as the administrative, laboratory, and distribution hub.

Nebraska Community Blood Bank is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization, licensed by the FDA and accredited by AABB and CLIA.
